Our Grant Application Process

We currently accept grant applications throughout the year and do not abide by a set grant cycle that limits the window for submissions.

Because we have a responsibility to use our funds judiciously, we always execute due diligence in verifying grant application information. That being said, we also don’t want to place unnecessary burdens on grantseekers throughout the process. We want to help programs in need as quickly as possible.

Our grant application process is done online through grant management software and consists of three simple steps that provide us with the required information to move forward with the grantmaking process.

  1. Letter of inquiry
    • Fill out and submit our letter of inquiry (LOI) form online. This will be our introduction to you, your organization, and your funding request. We will notify you via email upon receiving your submission and will keep you updated on the status of your letter.
  2. Review and Invitation to Apply
    • All LOIs are first reviewed to determine if they fall within the foundation’s guidelines. Those that do not will not be given further consideration. Letters that fit with our mission and current funding goals will be invited to complete our application online. Upon review, the foundation may seek additional information in writing from applicants. We might also request to meet with applicants, or other persons knowledgeable about the proposal.
  3. Decision
    • After fully considering your application details, we will contact you to discuss whether or not your application has been approved. If your organization is approved you will be asked to sign a Grant Agreement that lays out reporting and other requirements.
